How it all started.

1944 Fritz Kirchhofer started his watch shop in Interlaken, which is today an internationally known jewellery and watch business. He also founded with his brother Erich the watch factory Henowatch. 1968 He expanded his business and moved into today's Kirchhofer headquarters at the entrance of the Kursaal in Interlaken.

With time, Fritz gave the responsability of running the factory to his daughter Helen, while his youngest son Jürg became the majority shareholder and manager of Kirchhofer AG.
Jürg attended the school of watch technology in La Chaux-de-Fonds and gained experience working in leading watch stores in Switzerland as well as in London, Barcelona and Milano. In addition he studied gemmology in Germany.

Today Jürg Kirchhofer together with his wife Cecilia manage the shops in Interlaken, Grindelwald, Brienz as well as the Highest Watch shop in Europe. He offers his clients the world's largest selection of watch brands and a wide range of traditional and modern jewellery.
He is able to obtain limitied rare watches and has made himself a name among collectors worldwide.
